Questions regarding new graduate recruitment

Q:Can I apply for a position that is completely different from what I studied or specialized in at school?
A:You can apply. We are looking for a wide range of applicants without limiting the number of departments or faculties, so we welcome your participation in the selection process for the positions you are interested in.

Q:I am a foreign national, can I apply?
A:Applications are welcome. Whether you are a student at a Japanese university or a foreign university, please feel free to apply.
Many of our senior employees come from various countries and regions.
Q:Is there an opportunity to work abroad?
A:Since we do business globally, there are opportunities for overseas business trips and transfers to other countries regardless of your background in the humanities or sciences.
In addition, even when working domestically, there is work involving overseas operations on a daily basis.
Q:What kind of training is provided after joining the company?
A:There is approximately 4 months of training for new employees. (Newly hired college graduate)
The program consists of one month of basic business learning (classroom lectures, group work, etc.) and three months of manufacturing training (learning automotive seat manufacturing knowledge at a factory).
We have a mentor system in place to support new employees even after training is completed, with senior employees close to their age providing support.
Q:What kind of person would you like to see join the company?
A:Tachi-S seeks the following human resources

Q:What qualifications do I need to apply?
A:No special qualifications are required. We have not set a standard score for TOEIC or English proficiency test.
We recommend that you obtain a car driving license by the time you join the company.
Q:Is telecommuting available?
A:Possible.
We encourage flexible work styles, and many of our employees work both in the office and from home.
However, some positions (manufacturing positions) require work on the factory floor, so they are required to come to work.
Q:Is there a job rotation system?
A:We do not have a job rotation system, and there is no system whereby employees are always transferred or change jobs every few years.
We have introduced an internal recruitment system and FA system, and aim to build a career based on each employee's aptitude and willingness.
Q:Can I work on the side?
A:Possible. (by permission)
Many employees make good use of their personal skills and free time.
We expect that the various experiences gained through side jobs will lead to further growth of our employees.
Q:How much overtime do you work?
A:Although it varies by department, the company-wide average is about 17 hours per month.
To promote work-life balance, we have implemented initiatives such as no-overtime days.

A:It is possible.

A:No educational background is required.
We will make a comprehensive decision based on experience and expertise.
Q:Is there an age limit for eligibility?
A: There is no age limit.
Q:I have worked for Tachi-S before, can I apply?
A:You can apply.
We welcome the opportunity to utilize your experience.
Q:Can I apply even though I am a foreigner?
A:You can apply.
We are actively accepting applications.
However, communication in Japanese is required.
Q:Can I apply even if I have no experience in the automotive industry?
A: You can apply.
We hire people with a variety of work backgrounds, and many have changed careers from different industries.
Q:If I applied for new graduate recruitment and was unsuccessful, will I be at a disadvantage in mid-career recruitment?
A:It is not disadvantageous.
